Let me see if I can say this clearly. It’s amazing to see people whose default settings for success, resilience, and grace in the face of adversity are so effortlessly higher than the rest of us goons. Chad Jones is a rock star. So’s this guy.
My fashion-attuned friend Crystal passed along a video art playlist from V Magazine that she’s been involved with. My favorite by far is this amazing little video and song by Martin Creed. Funny, weird, spare, charming, and and so much like life.
Enjoy! And laugh, at least a little. =)

Hello, hello, fellow citizens. Hope everyone had a lovely New Year’s Eve! I had very lazy plans to be inside before dark, but ended up having some drinks and a very tasty dinner at Hakata Tonton with a friend, which is definitely not a bad thing to end up doing. Wild Geese
You do not have to be good
You do not have to walk on your knees
For a hundred miles through the desert, repenting.

are moving across the landscapes,
over the prairies and the deep trees,
the mountains and the rivers.
Meanwhile the wild geese, high in the clean blue air,
are heading home again.
Whoever you are, no matter how lonely,
the world offers itself to your imagination,
calls to you like the wild geese, harsh and exciting –
