I had some friends over this weekend to enjoy a relaxing Sunday afternoon. (Shhhh..this means nail art, which I’ll get into later on this week. Boys, plug your ears.)
Crystal proposed a breakfast tortilla feast, which worked out swimmingly since all it took was some quick chopping and prep work and voila! A DIY smorgasbord of flavor. How awesome does this look?? I would do it all again in a heartbeat.
Check out this organized little army of toppings. Makes me feel like an OCD chef on the television.
We had scrambled eggs, cilantro, guacamole, sour cream, diced tomatoes, red onion, roasted jalapenos, salted radishes, lime wedges, and salsa, but obviously, you can subtract and add fillings at will. My sister and cousin demurely turned down seconds, but then had them anyway. We all did.
We couldn’t help it. It was soooo, so good.
By the way, did I mention that I made pot de creme for dessert? I’ll tell you about that tomorrow. Promise.
